Installation of Polyfence Supalite PVC fencing products is easy and straightforward. All our products are compatiable with recognised building and fencing materials. Supalite can be sawn and fixed using traditional methods. This easy-to-understand picture guide provides a detailed summary of installation..

Establish the line of the fence by stretching a strong cord between stakes at the extremes of the run.

If the run is alongside a house make sure the first post is securely attached to the building with wall anchors i.e. drilled and plugged. Be sure to insert these directly into the brickwork and not into the mortar.

Anchors should be spaced no more than 2'(0.6m) apart with no less than 2 in total. Offer the post to the wall ensuring it is level in both vertical planes and aligned correctly. Dig hole to accommodate post. Minimum depth 26"(650mm).

A good tip would be to use quick drying concrete. When finishing, angle the concrete away from the post to allow rainwater to drain away easily.

Place the gravel board into the 'H' slot of the post and align. The gravel board may be sunk into the ground to provide a more secure fitting. Slide the board into place and complete by fitting decorative caps to posts.

Essentially the methods adopted will create a sloping fence - see above. Cut and shape your PVC gravel board using standard cutting tools to provide a terrace effect. Longer fence posts may be required.
