The 4mm thick acrylic glass is completely weather and UV-resistant. As a whole the product is durable. A hidden rubber joint prevents rain water from finding its way above the front door even when it rains heavily. This is achieved through bending the glass which lies on a hidden rain gutter, so that the water is drained sidewards.
