The ELCH PRO Glazing group currently contains five products typically used for single glazing, draught proofing, specialised and general industrial applications. The Glazing Silicones conform to ISO and DIN trade standards as appropriate for each sealant. For PVCu window and door applications this group offers three high grade, specialist cleaners in 1, 5 and 25 litre sizes. From a PVCu Cream Cleaner and the more powerful PVCu Frame Cleaner to an industrial strength Glass Cleaner.

The ELCH PRO Fire Rated group contains four specialised products for domestic and commercial building applications. FR Silicone and FR Intumescent Acrylic sealants are both tested to BS 476:part 20 and fire rated to 4 hours. FR Acoustic Sealant is also sound tested to a value of 55dBA and is supplied in large volume packs. FR Polyurethane B1 Foam is fire rated between firm, mineral construction substrates and in this application meets the requirements of building material class B1 according to DIN 4102 part 1.

Water Sealer penetrates deep into the materials and dries quickly so that the beading effect is noticeable within a few hours of application. Provides long lasting protection from rain, snow, frost and dirt with no appreciable change to the underlying surfaces. Water Sealer’s siloxane basis means that facades are protected from the effects of ageing such as freezing, frost and UV light. Once dried the surface is protected from external moisture, but will also allow walls to breathe letting water vapour escape. Once dried it can be painted over with most water-based paints, although prior testing is recommended. Elch Pro Water Sealer is a colourless siloxane based water repellent used for the waterproofing of all vertical or steeply sloping masonry substrates (brick, mortar, concrete, cement and natural stones).
