High quality isophalic polyester top coat, mid grey colour (RAL7045), specially manufactured to provide a durable weather proof finish to the GRP layer. Isophalic formula, cures tack free, water resistant and UV stable.
Top coat has thixotropic properties and will resist draining away even on inclined surfaces.
Suitable for a variety of applications such as roofing and garden ponds.
Manufactured to colour RAL7045. If using more that one tin check colour and mix together if necessary before use.
This top coat is supplied pre accelerated and is activated with the addition of MEKP catalyst at 1% to 4% by volume. Pot life at 20degC. using 2% catalyst is approximately 20 minutes. More catalyst decreases working time. This top coat may have a variable cure time. Users are advised to carry out a small test to determine pot life.
Not suitable for spray application.
