Clear line Greenhouse Installation Guide PART 2 |
The next stage is to complete the opposite end by now your confidence will be growing and this section should only take you half the time of the first panel to complete'
Pictures show a 6 x 9 greenhouse. |
Step 1 - Part 2 As a lot of this section is only a repeat of the first section its a good starting to point to lay the parts out on the ground Two of the angle bars you have left have holes in them these hole go in the out side edge of the greenhouse and both hole need to be near the ridge (top) of your greenhouse. |
Step 2 - Part 2 Repeat steps one and two from the previous page to fix the plastic gutter ends. Now place the angle support plate over the heads of the screws and screw the nuts on to hold then in place Do not tighten the nuts and bolts at this stage. |
Step 3 - Part 2 Fix the gable support bracket in to place as in step 7 on the previous page. The next step is two push the two outer polycarbonate sheets and the small gable section sheet in to place. They are not being fixed at this stage. Put the two door frame sides and the top parts 78 and part 93 in to position |
Step 4 - Part 2 Now slide the top door runner in to position under the frame you need to add two bolts to the groove in the frame these bolts part 81 are longer than the bolt you have used so far the are in a separate bag with the plastic parts you have been using. |
Step 5 - Part 2 The bolts in the upper door runner come through the holes in the gable angle bars.
Please note the h section joining bar and the up right door frame now line up with the bolts. |
Step 6 - Part 2 You will find two right angle brackets in one of the bags these brackets have slots in them which are cut around the upright door frame. When adding the nut to the door runner bolts be sure to use the correct ones supplied in the plastic bag. |
Step 7 - Part 2 Ensure your polycarbonate sheets are still in the intended grooves then fix the short horizontal frame braces in to place they may seem a little tight this is normal just pull the bars together to get the brace over the bolts. Note the brace goes on to the top bolt on the angled support bracket. |
Step 8 - Part 2 Now add two plastic polycarbonate retaining strips to the bottom of both sheets. Then bolt the bottom runner in to place by sliding it in to the retaining strips and bolting the outer two bolts |
Step 9 - Part 2 Next you need to add a bracing bar on to the middle two bolts and on to the lower bolts of the angled support brackets Peal back the polycarbonate as before to keep it clear of the retaining strips. |
Conclusion - Part 2 This panel is now complete we have opted to leave the polycarbonate cover on the sheets as we go to protect and keep then clean. Move this panel to one side but remember its very light so protect it from the wind and children |
