Base installation guide

Pictures show a 6 x 9 greenhouse. |

Step 1 - Part 3 Now its time to stand the two gable ends up and prop them safely in to place. The frame and the corners need to line up with the internal edge of the galvanised base. (if you are using one.) |
Step 2 - Part 3 The lower drip section needs to go on first. Drop the bolts into the two corners to stop it from moving (but do not tighten the nuts at all at this stage) |
Step 3 - Part 3 Next you need to push the polycarbonate retaining strip on to the upper edge. I used a rubber hammer to knock it down in to place. |
Step 4 - Part 3 Now peal back the edges of the protective covering on the polycarbonate and stand the sheets in to place. |
Step 5 - Part 3 You will then need to add a joining section. Drop two bolts down the groove (do not tighten nuts at this stage.)
Repeat this process across the side you are working on. |
Step 6 - Part 3
The final panel needs to go in from the top. (Its a two man job) Hold the frame and push the sheet down in the groove until it fits in to the retaining strip on the bottom. |
Step 7 - Part 3
The eaves section now goes into place. Make sure you have a spare bolt in each groove and one further bolt up the gable groove. Now put the eaves beam in to place by dropping it over the polycarbonate sheets then guiding it into the corner. Line up the groove with the gable bolt and allow it to drop in to place.
Step 8 - Part 3
Now slide up the bolts and add the nuts. You will need to push and pull a bit to line up the bolts with their intended slots. Repeat this job on all the top bolts in the joining bars then go to the corner bolts.
Step 9 - Part 3
Before you add the nut to the corner bolts put the angled bracing bar in to place. Do not tighten the top nut, instead go to the bottom nut and bolt (See step 10 before continuing.) |
Step 10 - Part 3 Before adding the nuts on the bottom if you used a galvanised base you need to add the clips supplied with the base to the bolt then add the bottom of the bracing bar then tighten the nut. Repeat this job on the other end then add more clips to the other joining bars to attach your greenhouse to the base. Also ensure you use two clips on the bottom of each door frame bar and two on the opposite gable. |
Step 11 - Part 3 You should now have one side complete you will have two panels if you purchased a 6 x 5 greenhouse three panels on a 6 x 7 and as shown 4 on the 6 x 9. Repeat the whole process again on the opposite side. |
Step 12 - Part 3
Please note on the front of this greenhouse we have used two upgraded 3mm glass clear panels this will allow us to keep an eye on the kids when we are in the greenhouse. |
Part 3 - Conclusion
You have now completed four side the next stage will take us on to the roof |
